Our
new look...
|
|
Welcome to Carpe Diem Restaurant.
Carpe Diem has been open since 1989. We have moved twice due to downtown
business developments, but are now in our third incarnation at 1535
Elizabeth Avenue.
Our new location is done in a beautiful art nouveau style. Mahogany doors,
copper lighting that vines around the wood work, and marble floors are
just a few details that will engage you in the surroundings. Our
menu features long time favorites, like our hazelnut crusted goat
cheese salad, but has new items that will keep your palate interested.
As always, we feature several daily specials for those of you who want
variety.

At
Carpe Diem, we take pride
in providing you with gracious service. We want you to leave happy
and
satisfied, so all our staff are here to insure
an auspicious experience.
We, the proprietors, sisters Tricia Maddrey
and Bonnie Warford, are from Miami, Florida. Our interest in
food grew from a
love of the Latin and
tropical flavors that influenced us growing up. Our American chef,
John Blumreich, grew up in Europe and was educated at New England
Culinary
Institute. Together these culinary influences have shaped our
version of “new
American” cuisine.
When dining with us, we want you to truly “seize
the moment” and
let us take care of the details. |
